jQuery Integration with BlogEngine.Net

Let me make it simple and easy to understand:

Step 1 : Load the jquery script file, as below:

<script src=”/js.axd?path=script/jquery-1.3.2.min.js” type=”text/javascript”></script>

Step 2 : Copy the jquery script to a folder named script inside the theme folder.

Step 3 : Register jquery it the site head, as below:

<script type=”text/javascript”>
$j = jQuery.noConflict();
$j(document).ready(function() {
alert(‘jQuery is enabled’);
});
</script>

Step 4 : Start using $j and not $.

Voila! your blogEngine now starts taking jQuery and what more.. its plugins too..

  1. Brokers believe it is safe at just over 80p this year,11.It’s snowtime Countess of Wessex,’There is also some evidence to suggest that people may be more sensitive to others appearing cold than hot.Dr Harrison explains: ‘We think that this is probably because the warm videos were less potent – the only cues that the water was warm was steam at the beginning of the videos and the pink colour of the actor’s hand (whereas blocks of ice were clearly visible throughout the duration of the cold video).

  2. For example , you were searching for an application which will
    enable you to take screen shots in your iPhone/iPod touch.
    The jailbreak process will begin automatically and will conclude after it restarts
    the device.

  4. By Peter Doyle September 20, 2010 – 12:00 amHi Banu I see what is happening here. The Project Teams Roles link goes to the BrightWork Pages lriarby which allows the User to edit the Web Parts on this these Web Part Pages. The permissions for this user would need to be restricted for the BrightWork Pages lriarby also. Regards, Peter

  5. How do you use data-role markup within the dynamic pages?
    When I try to save a page with these things like data-role=”content” gets removed for some reason

    1. If the page use the data-role markup for some purpose, it is better not to touch it. Instead you can use some other markup like “data-customrole”

      Did i answer your question right?

  6. One important note: In case if you are getting ‘jQuery not defined’ javascript error, it can be due to the following factors:

    1. jquery file is corrupted. Download a proper one.
    2. jquery file needs to be placed in the root folder of the site
    3. You have not published the site.
